Overview
The Langtang Valley Trek is one of Nepal's most rewarding shorter treks, beginning just a drive from Kathmandu. The trail follows the Langtang River up through forest and yak pastures into a stunning glacial valley framed by Langtang Lirung. From Kyanjin Gompa you can climb Tserko Ri for sweeping Himalayan panoramas. Quieter than the Everest and Annapurna routes, Langtang offers deep immersion in Tamang culture and a community proud of its recovery and resilience.
