The Everest Base Camp Trek is the ultimate Himalayan pilgrimage. Beginning with a thrilling flight into Lukla, the trail winds up the Khumbu through Namche Bazaar, the spiritual hub of Tengboche and a string of Sherpa villages, before reaching Everest Base Camp itself. A dawn climb to Kala Patthar (5,545 m) rewards you with the most iconic view of Everest on earth. Days are built around careful acclimatisation, comfortable teahouse stays and unforgettable mountain scenery.
