The Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek is the most popular short trek in the Annapurna region — and the perfect introduction to Himalayan trekking. In just a few days you climb through terraced fields and rhododendron forest to the village of Ghorepani, then rise before dawn for the celebrated Poon Hill (3,210 m) sunrise, with Annapurna and Dhaulagiri glowing on the horizon.
