The Annapurna Base Camp Trek leads you into the heart of the Annapurna Sanctuary, a glacial basin ringed by towering peaks including Annapurna I and the sacred Machhapuchhre. Starting conveniently from Pokhara, the trail climbs through terraced farmland, charming Gurung villages and enchanting rhododendron forest before opening into the vast mountain amphitheatre of Base Camp. A soak in the Jhinu Danda hot springs is the perfect reward on the way down.
